| Personal History | Gypsy was born on a Union planet named Eyelaria. Her people are a race of empaths who can sense the emotions of others and that makes them a race well suited to counseling. They are a race, however, that hates the medical arts. A race of warriors, much like the old Earth Amazons, they live in tribes and have a matriarchal system. Gypsy was born to a family, where like other Eyelarians, the father was a servant in the House of Sage. She was always the odd one out. Born with bright purple hair… a rare occurrence on the planet, she was thought to be cursed. She was given up by her mother and tribe as a baby so that she could be sent to a school of misfits for kids like her, that were also considered cursed. They were set to study the lesser arts, medicine, counseling, and engineering. Gypsy, living up to her name, always had a roaming soul. She used to look up at the stars and dream of being among them. She worked hard and as soon as she was of age she left to pursue her fortune on Earth. There, she thrived in academics, but never quite got the hang of making friends. Old childhood insecurities were always there. She graduated top of her class finished her MA program in record time and was assigned to a ship while she pursued her PhD. She, once again, was bitten by the roaming bug and moved quickly on to a new ship never quite feeling at home. Her new assignment at the mining station was one she applied for in hopes of having a new start. |
